The LEGO® Home Office

A LEGO® workspace where creativity and focus come together in an inspiring environment.

An inspiring place to work

The LEGO® Home Office blends calm functionality with colorful inspiration. Between tasks, your eyes land on playful accents: a LEGO® cactus, a photo frame made from bricks, or the striking LEGO® radio with a built-in Bluetooth speaker. Everything is in its place—without being distracting.

Small details, big impact

Across the desk and shelves, small LEGO® creations add atmosphere. From miniature plants to a floating minifigure above the screen—each element contributes to a creative setting. Even above your head, a LEGO® galaxy has been mounted on the wall to bring a touch of magic to your workday.

Positive energy at your desk

At the center of the desk is a bold desk mat with the words “Everything is Awesome”—instantly recognizable to any LEGO® fan. It’s not just practical, but also a daily reminder that work can be awesome too. The balance between focused productivity and playful design is just right here.

LEGO® inspiration for your workspace

  1. 1. Choose a cool desk mat

You know what’s even cooler than a nice mouse pad? That’s right! An XL desk mat in "Everything is awesome" style! Super fun and a perfect match for the LEGO® vibe of the room.

  2. 2. Your personal photo in a LEGO® frame

Chances are you want to place a personal photo on your desk. Instead of a standard frame, why not use a fun LEGO® picture frame instead?

  3. 3. Music <3 LEGO®

I already had a speaker, and a matching minifig with a guitar looked great on top. Even better is the addition of the retro radio set. It’s so cool how "Everything is awesome" echoes from the LEGO® radio.

  4. 4. Upgrade the LEGO® retro radio

Of course it’s fun to hear the built-in tunes from the retro radio. But even cooler now that I’ve found an ultra-thin Bluetooth speaker that fits inside and plays my own music too.

  5. 5. Shelves with LEGO® sets

With the LEGO® exhibition behind me, I wanted to add a few extra shelves near the desk. That way there’s more space to give LEGO® sets a well-deserved spot in the room.

  6. 6. The wall is the universe

With more and more LEGO® art becoming available, I decided to hang the Galaxy set there. Inspired by this beautiful piece, I also created a custom mini Galaxy next to it.

  7. 7. Fill in the holes

Sometimes you’re left with unwanted holes in the wall. Luckily, some LEGO® pieces fit just right in them. In this case, I added a cheerful space minifig floating above the galaxy.

  8. 8. Future projects

A desk is still a desk. That means it’s also a spot where you’ll sometimes find LEGO® bags or boxes with upcoming projects. As long as it doesn’t distract you too much from your work...
