Treasure Hunting on Exciting Terrain
With visits to many different LEGO® stores and events, the collection of loose bricks has also slowly grown. All purchases were always intended to be used creatively.
After visiting LEGO® World, with an extra bag of new bricks, it was time. I started on a MOC without any idea of what I wanted to build. When the first plates were connected, the outline of water, walls, and different colored lands slowly emerged.
Eventually, a fun scene emerged where I could place a treasure-hunting pirate. To give the build some structure and theme, the minerals, (poisonous) frogs, lights, and flowers play a big role.
To add some tension, I added a new pirate who comes very close on a little boat. It's only a matter of time before they meet. Let's hope it goes well...
Thus, Area 403 is a fact, my first MOC on a larger scale in a specific theme. It's very cool to see how just by building, you suddenly have a fun playable build, and it leaves you wanting more!
