Building Fun with Second-Hand LEGO®
Recently, we bought second-hand LEGO® for the first time, which was exciting in itself! The sets (71772 and 71771) were completely mixed up in the delivered box. It was a challenge to start without the usual numbered bags, but that made it an extra fun activity.
The step-by-step search for the right bricks, sorting in between, and the uncertainty of not knowing which few bricks (as neatly mentioned in the ad) would be missing. All in all, a fun experience that we worked through together in one weekend, much to the relief of my wife who was already worried about not being able to eat at the table all week...
My son, as a big Ninjago fan, found it fantastic to build his own set. And to our delight, only 5 small pieces were missing in the end. One of those pieces I still had in my own stock, so the rest needs to be supplemented via pick-a-brick.
Finally, with the large golden dragon (71774) already in our possession, we could finally reenact the last battle. Our Ninjago collection is now completely complete and ready for extra hours of playtime!
