A festive LEGO® treasure hunt
During our joint 40th birthdays and 10 years together, I organized an activity at the farm and event location Het Terphuis in Poortugaal. To add my own touch to the party, I came up with the LEGO® Masters QRuest, a creative mix of the popular TV show and my own developing QRuest app.
The challenge? Build a unique attraction for Poortugaal, navigating the farm in search of the QRuest cards! Participants received an A4 with instructions and a baseplate to get started. Additionally, there were extra conditions revealed at 3 QRuest cards: stability, recognizability, and uniqueness.
To give everyone enough opportunities for creativity, I rented 3 moving boxes of LEGO® from Brams Bouwstenen , which were ready at the aforementioned cards with conditions. It was really cool to see how a group with little LEGO experience put together such creative constructions.
The activity ended with presentations per group, judging by us as hosts, and finally an award ceremony. Since the children worked hard anyway, they all received a LEGO® polybag as a gift. The day was already great, but this made it a huge success.
